Spotlight - 5 Questions With bluboho Founder, Maggie

As we continue to celebrate strong and magical women, we wanted to shine some light on our spirited gemstone insider Maggie, founder of bluboho jewelry, who we recently teamed up with for our International Women’s Day partnership.

Name a woman who has been inspirational to you.

My mom. After becoming a mom and realizing how challenging the role is with amazing supports, I gained a deep admiration for my mom and her plight as a young, single mother with little financial or family support. She put herself through university while working, and raising a baby by herself. She is the epitome of strength, grace and persistence.

What does strength mean to you?

Strength is a muscle that needs to be continually built by withstanding the obstacles that arise in life.

What female singer do you play on repeat?

Beyonce for every mood. Is there any greater legend?

What up-and-coming fearless female leader do you have on your radar and why?

Char San Pedro is a woman who I admire and respect. She has built an amazing not-for-profit called Good To Be Good Foundation that serves marginalized communities in the GTA. She is a social entrepreneur, humanitarian and a beautiful spirit.

What other female lead brands should we all be supporting?
